Physical Abuse: Slapping, kicking, punching, pinching, throwing objects, destroying property are examples of physical abuse.
Psychological Abuse: Coercion, manipulation, threats, imposing negative outcomes to ensure control over choices, giving ultimatums., believing you deserve to be treated without respect, care, dignity, or honor, learning to accept the responsibility of someone else's feelings based on their display of disapproval, inconvenience, or irritation.
Verbal Abuse: Calling names, using swearing, sarcastic, belittling comments, made the brunt of jokes in a negative way, calling attention to your mistakes, failures, weaknesses in public ways.
Financial Abuse: controlling financial ability to spend on necessary items to maintain appropriate life management. Seizing one's financial means forcing the other to become compromised and without sufficient means to take care of themselves without outside assistance.
