01

Getting started

How do I schedule an appointment?

Visit our Contact Us page and select “Request an appointment” to open Center for Life Management’s TherapyPortal scheduling page. Follow the portal’s instructions to request a time. Your appointment is confirmed when the practice confirms it. You can also call 405-821-8182 for scheduling help.

What if I’m not sure which service I need?

Contact Calvin with a brief description of the kind of support you are looking for. Together, you can discuss whether individual counseling, couples work, an extended session, or a relationship-development program is a good starting point. You do not need to choose a package before that conversation.

What happens during the first appointment?

The first appointment is an opportunity to discuss your concerns, relevant background, goals, and expectations. Calvin will review the counseling process and work with you to identify initial priorities. Fees, consent, and any required intake paperwork are reviewed as part of getting started.

02

Your care

Who do you work with?

The practice supports individuals and couples navigating anxiety, grief, relationship conflict, emotional disconnection, trust concerns, caregiving, life transitions, and the pressures of professional or family responsibilities. The first conversation helps determine clinical fit.

Are telehealth appointments available?

Telehealth counseling is available for clients located in Oklahoma and Wisconsin, subject to clinical fit and availability. Let Calvin know where you will be physically located during sessions, including when traveling, so practice authorization can be confirmed before care is arranged.

Does counseling have to include Christianity or faith?

No. Christian-integrated counseling is available when you want it included. Your beliefs, preferences, and goals guide that decision, and you can discuss them openly with Calvin.

How does private pay relate to privacy?

For direct private-pay sessions when no insurance claim is requested, the practice does not bill your health plan. Private pay does not eliminate clinical records, appropriate diagnosis, or limits on confidentiality. Privacy practices and consent are reviewed before treatment; ask Calvin about any specific concern before sharing sensitive information.

03

Fees & formats

What do sessions cost?

Private-care options include a 50-minute session at $225, a 90-minute session at $400, and a three-hour intensive at $700. Monthly care and dedicated formats are also available. See the complete rate sheet for fees or pricing & session options for what each format includes.

Can I use insurance for the options on this site?

The prices on this site describe private-pay services. If you want to use insurance or explore reimbursement, contact the practice before booking to confirm which services, if any, can be billed and what documentation may be available. Coverage and reimbursement are not guaranteed.

Can I reserve a half day or arrange care in my city?

A Half-Day Intensive is $1,500. Two-Day In-City Care is $2,500 in professional fees, with travel expenses separate. Hours, breaks, clinical fit, practice authorization, and travel arrangements are agreed before booking. These visits do not include continuous or around-the-clock care. Contact Calvin to discuss your proposed format and dates.

Is Couples University included in a monthly care plan?

No. Couples University is a separate relationship-development program. Contact Calvin for current program options, schedule, and fees. The counseling packages listed on this site do not automatically enroll you in Couples University.

04

Appointments

What if I cannot find a suitable appointment time?

Call 405-821-8182 or email calvinsmith@calvinsmiththerapy.com to discuss availability. Contact the practice directly for monthly care, intensives, travel visits, or Couples University, as these may need to be arranged individually.

How do I change or cancel an appointment?

Contact the practice as early as possible to request a change. Cancellation, rescheduling, missed-appointment, and unused-session terms are provided in your service agreement. Review those terms before booking and ask Calvin if anything is unclear.

Should I include personal health details in an email?

Keep ordinary email to basic scheduling questions and contact information. Share clinical details through the client portal or during your appointment. The website and routine scheduling messages are not a crisis service.
