Domestic Violence Online Class

​Introduction:
Welcome. Thank for your interest in this introductory course to domestic violence. In this course you will be able to select one of three perspectives and follow the course of the person's choices. Through those choices you will also be made aware of the various signs of domestic violence, effects of domestic violence, interventions for domestic violence, and precautions of domestic violence.

  • ​Strategies for safety and protection
  • ​Crisis resources available
  • Emergency Planning

The Perspectives reviewed will be from:
  • ​The victim's perspective
  • ​The abuser's perspective
  • ​The outside family members perspective


Choose a character that you would like to follow. As you follow their path you will be introduced to variations of abuse and how it has affected them. We will also look at strategies to empower recovery and healing in context.​
